Ashlyn has been such a wonderful support to me and our therapists! She is always ready and willing to answer questions either through meetings or emails. She was so kind to be a special guest for one of our division meetings. The therapists had some great takeaways from her information and answers. Her AAC resources are so comprehensive and I love being able to guide my therapists to her. Thank you Ashlyn for all you do, you are truly a gem and we love your support!!
I have taught and recorded two courses with Knowledge is Now in the last year. Working alongside Jennifer Lawson is a DREAM. I would not call myself the most “tech savvy” instructor, but she not only made me look good, I felt good throughout the whole process. She gently provided feedback regarding my presentation and learning guide. She made it incredibly easy to mesh both together in a way that made everything flow and look so lovely. She was also invaluable in making sure the learning guide could stand on its own as a resource for participants who want to return to my materials in the future. During the training itself, she and the other KIN professionals managed the entering/exiting of participants and helped make sure that I could just lead and not worry about anything happening with the technology. They made time ahead of the training to confirm my links and videos worked well and could be seen and heard by everyone. I would love to teach as many courses as they would like, simply because it was truly so easy, enjoyable, and fun! Those attending the courses were also able to participate easily and we had such robust dialogue. I’m certain that is as a result of all the KIN coordination throughout the entire process and on the day of the training!
The quality of education and training provided by KIN has been key in ensuring our treatment and documentation meets medical necessity and proven standards of care. This has been instrumental in our therapy organization maintaining a greater than 99% approval rating and helped establish eight value-based agreements with different MCOs across the state of Texas. The consultation and audit process provided by KIN has also allowed our organization to maintain deficiency free audits.
