In a workplace setting, the culture experienced amongst the employees can often be the defining foundation for success. When a culture is consistent and brings positivity, support, creativity, and encourages employee growth, it brings improved results in every measurable area of success. Retention, productivity, and engagement are shown to be directly impacted by the culture of a workplace. Through this course, participants will learn 8 specific areas to enhance their workplace culture, and leave feeling empowered to create an ongoing positive impact to their co-workers, employers, and their own personal experiences at work.

Following this training, participants will be able to:

  1.  List 8 areas that help define the culture in any workplace.
  2.  Identify their strengths and weaknesses in the areas of culture making.
  3.  Name practical ways and tactics they can take to their workplace to enhance the culture.

Note: This course meets the requirement for Professional Development hours towards your ASHA renewal since it is approved by TSHA! You can count these hours towards ASHA renewal when you submit your Compliance Form.

Instructor

Elizabeth Bryant graduated with her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008 from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She has been a PT in the pediatric home health setting for over 16 years and obtained her Pediatric Specialist Certification in 2013. At her current agency she has landed in a variety of career opportunities including being a full time field therapist for 8 years, a discipline specific mentor and manager for 3 years, and an agency Division Director for over 200 therapists of all disciplines for 3 years. Currently, Elizabeth is serving her agency as the Director of Employee Engagement with the primary goal to enhance the employee experience
