THIS COURSE HAS ENDED

In this course, we will cover currently-available parent-reported assessment tools for the assessment of feeding and gastrointestinal symptoms in infants and young children. We will discuss how these assessments were developed, how to determine which assessments to use, how to use the assessments in clinical practice, and how to interpret the results. Case studies will be used to help the clinician understand how these assessments may help inform their clinical care of patients and practice scoring and interpreting results.

Following this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe at least one benefit to parents and one benefit to providers of using parent-reported assessment tools.
  2. Identify at least one feeding assessment tool for infants under 7 months of age.
  3. Identify at least one feeding assessment tool for children between 7 months and 7 years of age.
