Instructor

Kevin McHorse, PT, SCS has been practicing physical therapy in Austin, TX since 1999 and specializing in youth sports and orthopedic physical therapy since 2002. Kevin has spent the last 24 years of his professional career at Central Texas Pediatric Orthopedics where he started and now leads the physical therapy program. In this setting he has daily interaction and collaboration with pediatric orthopedic surgeons and sees patients in a one on one setting 4 days a week. Kevin has been involved in the Youth Athlete Special Interest Group of the AASPT as a past chair, and is involved in the PRiSM Society (Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine) as a member of both the Spondylolysis and the Multi-Ligament Knee Injury Research Interest Groups as well as the Scientific Committee for AM25. He has presented at CSM and PRiSM, taught weekend CE courses nationally, and guest lectures on the topic of youth sports injuries and rehab at Texas State University.
