Overview

Recorded webinar

This FREE webinar will be available on-demand on October 23, 2026

Great therapy can be difficult to see on paper. You may analyze performance, grade a task, change the environment, select or fade cues, adapt equipment, coach a caregiver, or shift your plan in real time. If the note only says what the child did, much of your contribution disappears.

In this short, practical course, pediatric SLPs, OTs, and PTs will explore how to make their clinical reasoning more visible in visit note documentation. Participants will examine the difference between simply describing what happened during a therapy visit and documenting the skilled decisions, individualized interventions, child response, and clinical reasoning that help demonstrate medical necessity. Using examples and a brief self-check, participants will learn practical ways to strengthen visit notes without simply making them longer.

The goal is not to document more. It is to make sure the documentation clearly communicates why skilled therapy was needed, what you contributed, and how the child responded.

Purchasing this course gives you access to the LIVE Webinar, as well as the RECORDED WEBINAR (for as long as it is active on the Knowledge Is Now Platform). This event will be recorded and available on demand within 10 days of the live event. Watch the recorded version at your own pace!
